I am Dr Sham Pagar,
Nephrologist (Kidney Specialist) and blood pressure specialist in
Nashik, Maharashtra, India.
I have done my Fellowship in Nephrology from Topiwala National Medical College and BYL Nair Hospital, Mumbai in affiliation with Maharashtra University of Health Science and medicine post graduate from BYL Nair hospital. I have completed my M.B.B.S. from Medical College, Nashik.
I run my Kidney Clinic in Nashik. In my last 15years of medical profession, I found that people are lacking in knowledge and awareness of Kidney Diseases and Blood Pressure.
More than 40% kidney problems are associated with high blood pressure and poor blood pressure control. Only 50% of Hypertensive patient know that they are having blood pressure and only 25% of Hypertensive are taking medicine. Only 12.5% Hypertensive have well control Blood Pressure. Blood pressure is major cause of stroke, heart attack and kidney failure.
The information regarding Kidney Diseases and Blood Pressure is not easily available for common man. It is scattered. Sometimes, there is issue regarding authenticity and practical implementation of it.
The primary work of doctor is to educate people regarding their illness and disease. The purpose of this website is to educate people regarding Kidney Diseases. We categories information in more practical manner.
